How we manufacture our fixed gates
• UD Doors was founded March 2016 and to-date has been successful door manufacturers and sellers of fixed gates, swing gates and expandable gates doe people who seek home security.
• All doors manufactured are powder coated and salt tested.
• Fixed gates are being manufactured for the retail market and all doors are packed with DIY instructions and
supplied with hinges, lock bar and rivets needed for hanging of the door.
• All doors are covered with a top and bottom sleeve in order to protect doors upon transporting and
housing in the retail shop.
• All products, such as the fixed gates, are powder coated in the new spray booth which was imported from Germany
in April 2017.
• All powders are being applied equally due to the powder coating booth having the
necessary extraction and lighting.
• All powder coating machines are being tested ones every 3 months in order to make sure
that the electrical fields are in working order.
• All products are heated to 180 degrees and then left for 20minutes in the furnace.
• Furnace takes up to 26 fix doors in one cycle which can be repeated every 45 minutes therefore we have the capacity to heat up 208 doors a day on a normal 8 hour shift.
New milling machine, all slots are being drilled and cut with 100% accuracy.
• Trelli doors are also being manufactured to the customers sizes.
• Fitting on these doors will also be done by Ukuphepa Doors.
Retail stands are also available with the customer’s header board, pricing will
be confirmed upon placing of the order.
The retail stands will assist in showing off the fixed gates, swing gates and expandable gates to the customers as well as providing logo graphics on who customers should contact to get the fixed gates, swing gates and expandable gates into their homes to protect them and their family.
